Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the RSMECHS platform — including our website, mobile application, and related services — you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our platform.
In these Terms, the following definitions apply:

| "User" | Any person who accesses the Platform, including Customers and Mechanics. |
| "Services" | Automotive repair and maintenance services offered by Mechanics through the Platform. |
| "Platform Fee" | The non-refundable fee charged by RSMECHS to Customers to confirm a booking. |
| "Service Fee" | The amount charged by the Mechanic for the Services provided. |
| "Booking" | A confirmed appointment between a Customer and a Mechanic facilitated through the Platform. |
RSMECHS is an online marketplace that connects Customers requiring automotive repair and maintenance services with independent Mechanics who provide those services. RSMECHS does not itself provide mechanical services.
The Company acts solely as an intermediary facilitating connections between Customers and Mechanics. We do not employ Mechanics, and we are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or any other aspect of the Services provided by Mechanics.
Important: RSMECHS is a technology platform — not a mechanical service provider. Any agreement for automotive services is directly between the Customer and the Mechanic.
To use the Platform you must:
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
You must create an account to access most features of the Platform. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account information updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at security@rsmechs.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. RSMECHS will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised use of your account.
Each person may maintain only one Customer account and one Mechanic account. Creating duplicate accounts may result in termination of all accounts.
We reserve the right to verify your identity and, for Mechanics, your qualifications and credentials at any time. Failure to complete verification may result in suspension or termination of your account.
When you make a Booking, you are entering into a direct service agreement with the Mechanic. RSMECHS facilitates this connection but is not a party to that agreement.
You must provide accurate information about your vehicle, location, and the nature of the issue. Providing false or misleading information may result in additional charges from the Mechanic and/or suspension of your account.
You agree to ensure that the Mechanic has safe and reasonable access to your vehicle at the agreed location and time. If a Mechanic is unable to access the vehicle due to your failure, you may not be entitled to a refund of the Platform Fee.
You agree to treat Mechanics with respect and professionalism. Harassment, abuse, or threatening behaviour toward any Mechanic will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement.
You may leave reviews for Mechanics after a completed Booking. Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on your genuine experience. Defamatory, false, or malicious reviews are prohibited and will be removed.
To offer Services on the Platform, you must complete our application process and be approved by RSMECHS. We reserve the right to approve or reject any application at our sole discretion.

Mechanics may choose from the following subscription plans:

Platform fees are calculated on the labour subtotal only and do not include the cost of parts. Subscription fees are charged monthly and are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced.
You agree to treat Customers with respect and professionalism at all times. You must not:
A non-refundable Platform Fee of $3.50 USD is charged to the Customer at the time of Booking to confirm the appointment. This fee covers platform operating costs and is retained by RSMECHS regardless of whether the Service is completed.
The Service Fee is agreed between the Customer and Mechanic, either at the time of Booking or through the Quote process. All prices are displayed in USD. Reference amounts may be shown in other currencies for convenience only — all charges are processed in USD.
All payments are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By making a payment on the Platform, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. RSMECHS does not store your card details.
Mechanics receive payment for Services after deduction of the applicable Platform Fee percentage. Payouts are processed on a weekly basis to the bank account or payment method registered on your account. RSMECHS reserves the right to withhold payment pending investigation of disputes or suspected fraud.
Each User is solely responsible for determining and paying any applicable taxes on amounts earned or paid through the Platform. RSMECHS does not withhold taxes on behalf of Users unless required by law.

Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the incident to refunds@rsmechs.com or via the Platform. RSMECHS reserves the right to investigate all refund requests before processing. Where Stripe processing fees have been incurred, these are non-recoverable and will be absorbed by RSMECHS on approved refunds.
Mechanics are independent contractors, not employees of RSMECHS.
Nothing in these Terms creates an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, or similar relationship between RSMECHS and any Mechanic. Mechanics:
RSMECHS does not supervise, direct, or control how Mechanics perform their Services. Any direction given through the Platform (such as response time guidelines) is for quality assurance purposes only and does not create an employment relationship.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
RSMECHS is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of the Services provided by Mechanics. Any dispute regarding Services is between the Customer and the Mechanic directly.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RSMECHS, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RSMECHS and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
RSMECHS strongly recommends that all Mechanics maintain adequate insurance coverage, including:
RSMECHS does not provide insurance coverage for Mechanics or their work. Customers are advised that Services are performed by independent contractors and that RSMECHS's liability is limited as set out in Section 10.
Disclaimer: RSMECHS does not verify whether Mechanics hold adequate insurance. Customers engage Mechanics at their own risk. We recommend requesting proof of insurance from your Mechanic before authorising any work.
Any dispute between a Customer and a Mechanic arising from a Booking or Service should first be attempted to be resolved directly between the parties. RSMECHS may, at its sole discretion, assist in mediating disputes but is under no obligation to do so.

For disputes between you and RSMECHS that cannot be resolved informally, you agree to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of a recognised arbitration body. Class action lawsuits and class-wide arbitration are waived to the fullest extent permitted by law.
All content on the Platform including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software is the property of RSMECHS or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for its intended purpose. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or exploit any content from the Platform without our prior written consent.
By submitting content to the Platform (such as reviews, photos, or profile information), you grant RSMECHS a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Platform.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@rsmechs.com. Closing your account does not entitle you to any refund of subscription fees already paid.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you:
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Outstanding balances owed to you will be paid within 30 days, less any amounts owed to RSMECHS. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international commercial law. For users in specific jurisdictions, the following additional protections apply:

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will:
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform.
